This blog was inspired by Swetlana‘s most recent post. She talked about her dream man, Alexander Skarsgard (who is very, very hot). So basically, I’m going to do the same, but with my dream man, Dougie Poynter.

I talk to a lot of McFly fans on sites such as Twitter and Tumblr and most of us have one thing in common: We all go completely fan girl over Dougie Lee Poynter. In my opinion, he is the best looking man on the planet. I know a lot of people don’t really go for guys that look like him, since he’s not made of muscle and all rugged, but really, I think he’s perfect!

He plays bass amazingly in McFly. One song that really shows off his ability is Lies. He makes the basslines sound effortless and he just looks so natural when he’s performing live. He sings sometimes in McFly, too. Their song Transylvania sounds amazing, but when it’s live and Dougie sings most of it, it just sounds so alive! He puts in so much effort and you can tell.

He has such a silly sense of humour, quite childish, but it’s the same as mine. I find it hard to keep a straight face whenever I watch any interview with him in. They’re too funny. He’s one of those people who don’t think before they speak, and I am just like that. Some of the things he comes out with, you just would believe it. Take this interview for example: surely I’m not the only one who finds that so hilarious?! Haha. No really.

But yeah, thats why Dougie is my favourite male celebrity- ever! Not just looks, eh?! But don’t worry, I’m not one of those silly, little, teenie fan girls who are like “OMG! I AM GOING TO MARRY HIM HE IS SO GORGEOUS OMG.” because clearly I’m not stupid enough to believe I could marry him! But I do think he is like, the perfect man! Hahahaha.
