Change The Stars is a personal blog owned by a girl who never stops ranting. It was opened in late October 2009 and is hosted by Georgina. It was bought for me by Alexandra.
History
I began somewhat webdesigning in 2006, when I discovered Piczo. It was introduced to me by my good friend, Sarah. It was filled with tacky glitters, and I had numerous pointless sites for a while.
In 2007 I decided to create a site that was worthwhile visiting. I offered content, but it wasn’t very good. It was my own though, and I was proud of it. My site was fairly popular. As it stands, in the end it got around 8,000 unique visitors and for a Piczo site, I thought that was quite good.
After that little spell of tacky content and celebrity images edited very badly, I moved to Freewebs, which is now just webs.com, apparently. My site did well, but after a few months I fancied a change.
I didn’t get accepted for hosting at a site that I can’t remember, so I used a URL redirection. I then applied somewhere else, and got accepted.
I moved to www.stargirl.watchimfly.info, but after a month, I asked to have my site removed as the downtime was bad. I got hosted with a lovely girl called Lena, who has since deleted her site. I had www.radioactive.shinethief.com.
After 3 or 4 months with Lena, I needed a change, yet again, so I started up www.backinwonderland.co.nr which has probably been my most successful site to date. I loved it so much, but won a domain in the January after that. I once again had my site deleted due to downtime, it was getting silly.
I won destinedtofall.info after that, in April 2009. That site was okay, but I had a lot of problems, like space and bandwidth. I loved the name though. Because of the problems with space, I kept complaining that I needed a new site, because my previous host didn’t allow server changing.
I complained about it on Twitter, and then Alexandra bought me a domain! I was so happy, and I’d had the name in mind for a while, and I quite like it. I had trouble finding in the end, but I’d been talking to Georgina for a while, and she hosted me! I was once again happy.
That is basically how Change The Stars came around.
