I set up a Flickr yesterday. I’d really appreciate if you took a look at it, and if you’re a member, maybe add me as a contact and comment my photos. If you don’t know what Flickr is, it’s kind of like DeviantArt but you can upload photos and videos. I personally prefer it to DeviantArt, I don’t know why. It’s just simpler and more straight forward.
It’s a Photostreaming site, so you can show off photography, or portfolio work. I’m using it as a base for my photography. I’ve edited a lot of my pictures to make them seem more appealing. I’ve not turned them into layouts or pieces of artwork, but I’ve added lyrics, scripts and textures. My band photos haven’t had much editing done to them, just adjusted the brightness and contrast, and added my tag.
I’ve put most of my photos of McFly on there, because even though they aren’t brilliant, I am proud of them. I don’t use them in my layouts much anymore, and I still want to show them to people, so I added them there. Yesterday I dug out my mums huge, but very good camera. It’s from about 6 or 7 years ago, so it’s like a housebrick. It’s very good though, but I cannot wait to get my new one for Christmas.
I took photos of random compositions that I thought looked nice. So far my Flickr has had 107 views, which I’m really giddy about, to know that people are actually looking at my photos. I’m going to try and get all my band photos on there soon, because I like them the most. I’ve got photos of our Christmas tree on there, which I took yesterday. I’ve got another Christmas decoration picture to put on there, but the batteries in my camera died before I could copy them all onto my laptop.
Enough about Flickr now. I’m feeling better now. I think it must of been all that crap I ate for dinner that made me sick. I felt well enough to go out yesterday. I didn’t go anywhere special, though just did a bit of shopping.
Since I’ve got the tiniest, littlest bit of Christmas shopping left to do, I’ve started spending all my money on things I want again. I went to Tesco with my sister, and I bought Coyote Ugly on DVD, a new foundation, 4 magazines (full with Jedward interviews…Oh hello updated Jedward shrine! ;D), a tuna pasta salad (nicest thing I’ve ever eaten in my life) and some sweets to have after dinner.
I spent about half an hour with nan and grandad, then I went to see my sister and her boyfriend for the rest of the day, which was cool because we don’t see each other very much any more. I’ve had an alright weekend, actually. I’m glad I’m feeling better, because I hate being sick!
Now you make me want to get a Flickr! I never got one because I had a photoblog and all, and I just post things on Twitpic.
The thing I don’t want to do is update my Flickr with photos all the time or upload my best stuff there. I’m thinking I should get one now though!

I love those McFly photos and all your photos! They look great. Obviously I’m sorta jealous you have taken those photos yourself because I think that’s super cool.
I’m glad you’re feeling better, but now I’m sick! I have a cold. Even in this heat in Australia. O_o
We have a family camera, which is pretty fancy, but I don’t like to use it. It isn’t that old, but it’s big and black and looks quite professional. I used to hate it because I just wanted to carry a small one, but it’s actually quite good!
I haven’t seen Coyote Ugly, and I’m not that big on movies. I usually watch the same ones over and over.
OMG. I love pasta salad, and I love tuna pasta salad even more. I absolutely adore salads. Not because I’m a health freak or anything but those things are great AND good for you. They taste amazing.
I might eventually try Google Chrome. But I am really liking Safari because it has this feature where you can see what your website looks in mobile or on other browsers, without actually downloading.
Oh wow, haha. A lot of people commenting on my blog have mentioned Firefox. I use Firefox the most but I do love Opera as well.
The lifts here are usually very big, but it’s still annoying when someone tries to fit in when they obviously can’t.
Haha yeah. I wouldn’t mind taking the stairs but there wasn’t that option. Thankfully it’s not such a busy building. :3
LOL yeah, the word “snogging” sort of annoys me but it makes me laugh as well.
I rarely get sick at school – I rarely get sick at all!
It was just as a joke because it was our last day, so I guess they were looking to piss people off by putting grease on the seat so no one could sit.
HAHAHA OMG. That happened to me too. I was vacuuming my normal keyboard, and I sucked up two keys. I was in literal SHOCK after it happened, the vacuum still on and my face was like O_O or D:
Wasn’t too much trouble putting it back in. I did it to my laptop too but put it on low suck so it didn’t suck up a key.
